Nick Johnson(Tony Curtis) is an American living in Europe who loves
women. Especially rich single women. With his devastating charm, he
woos them and weds them. However, his wives then seem to suffer
unfortunate "accidents" that leave him a wealthy widower. He meets
his match in Francesca (Rosanna Schiaffino), an enterprising young
Italian widow, who is playing the same game. An amusing black comedy
vehicle for Tony Curtis, Arrivederci, Baby provides Nancy
Kwan some good comic moments herself, in a non-Asian role. She plays
Baby, Curtis' regular girlfriend, who wises up to his methods and
starts getting a few schemes of her own. This was the last film she
made under her contract with producer Ray Stark.
