Shot on location in Hong Kong and Macau, Keys to Freedom
tells the story how the imminent Chinese takeover of the British
colony might affect the millions of citizens of Hong Kong. The "keys
to freedom" for these citizens are US passports. A deadly black
market for passports is thriving, controlled by Hong Kong's warlords.
Nancy Kwan has the sympathetic role of a medical doctor who works at a
clinic for the poor illegal immigrants to Hong Kong. The film also
stars Omar Sharif, Jane Seymour, and Denholm Elliot.
